SnapRX

Timeline: September 2025 - December 2025

Project Type: Personal

Technologies Used:
SQL SQL Server
Project Description

SnapRx is an AI powered web application that identifies prescription medications from pill images. Using the Claude Vision API, the app extracts key visual features like shape, color, and imprint from uploaded photos. A Python script then queries an Azure SQL database containing over 81,000 medications from the NIH Pillbox dataset to match and identify the pill. Built with Flask and deployed on Railway, SnapRx demonstrates practical AI integration, database management, and privacy-focused healthcare application design. Please read the ReadME.txt file in the downloads for future plans on this project.
